🌿 The Thread of the Soul: How We Found and Kept a Forever Friendship

Some friendships arrive like a quiet sunrise—gentle, unplanned, and lasting.

The man beside me in this picture is Dharmesh Solanki—a dear friend, a brother, and my soulmate. Our story began in 2013. As so many meaningful things do, with a simple hello.

A Greeting That Sparked a Bond
I have always had the habit of greeting strangers, believing a smile or a kind word can lift someone’s day. I often saw Dharmesh after work, sitting on his bike, speaking softly on the phone, waiting for six o’clock.

One evening, I learned why—he worked two jobs: full-time at a furniture wholesaler and part-time for a courier service. Those evenings were his parcel pick-up hours. Soon, our brief chats became a peaceful daily ritual—fifteen minutes of laughter, empathy, and stories about family and work. Interestingly, we never exchanged mobile numbers, unaware that this small detail would one day turn into a long, soul-searching quest.

The Separation
In 2016, my office shifted locations without notice. It wasn’t just a change of address—I had lost the warmth of that familiar connection. For months, I returned to the old parking area, hoping to see him. The guard often said, “He just left.” Hope lingered, kept alive by the faint memory of where his office might be. Over the decades, I’ve gained and lost many friends. I try to find the lost ones, though the search often leaves gentle scars on the heart.

The Reunion
Then one day, fate intervened. While riding down a lane near my father’s house, I saw him—standing outside his office, smiling just the same. I waved. He walked toward me. When we hugged, time froze. All the waiting, hope, and joy dissolved into that one moment. Since then, our bond has only grown deeper. He is family now.

The Lesson
Dharmesh is humble, hardworking, and devoted to his Lord, his family, and his friends. He’s younger than I am, and by society’s measure, we’re worlds apart in profession. Yet, I never saw/see those differences—only a kindred soul. Even during my toughest times, he never offers sympathy; instead, he provides strength: “Things will get better soon.” We might miss calls or messages, but we always understand. That quiet respect keeps our friendship alive. I have never once voiced the thought that 'we are not on the same page.' The truth is, I never judged him by any of those social labels. I only saw a soulmate.

When I visited him on the afternoon of October 27 to wish him a Happy New Year, we took our first selfie together.

The Takeaway
True friendship—built on respect, understanding, and shared soul—is a rare treasure. Cherish it. Don’t abandon old gold while chasing glitter. The ones who stood by you silently, sincerely— they are the ones who keep your heart alive.

Exploitation at Work: A Silent Crisis.

Exploitation at Work: A Silent Crisis.
Since 2019, I have been pursuing independent work. Although the initial journey posed significant challenges, the onset of COVID-19 added further obstacles. However, I utilized that time to acquire new skills, leading to a period of stability—until late 2024, when clients began reducing costs and opting for AI or less expensive alternatives. This shift had a profound impact on my work, which diminished almost overnight.

In the months that followed, I actively sought new job opportunities, but the hiring landscape was quite narrow. Employers often prefer to hire multiple freshers at ₹10,000 to ₹15,000 each rather than invest in an experienced professional at ₹50,000. While this pattern has been observed for years, its effects seem to be more pronounced now.

I even considered a position at a local pharmacy that offered ₹14,000 per month for 12-hour days, including Sundays, translating to roughly ₹42 an hour. When I proposed a reduced schedule for a little more work-life balance, the compensation decreased to ₹5,000. This was nothing but pure exploitation of human assets. I received support from friends, but the jobs leaned towards more workload and lower pay.

(Listen to the blog)

This experience prompted me to reflect on the current state of employment and worker conditions. The recent example of a legendary IT brand or any other established brands/MNCs laying off experienced employees is quite alarming. However, I cannot assume or choose to decide what the companies plan in their boardrooms. Each year, millions of graduates enter a competitive job market. Government initiatives exist, but they often yield a high volume of applications for limited positions.

It is important to recognize that not everyone has the ability to continually reskill in every field. The expectation for flexibility without supportive working conditions often places pressure on individuals, which can lead to feelings of disposability.

We must consider the broader implications: Are we unintentionally normalizing exploitation in the name of efficiency? Are we prioritizing profits significantly over the well-being of individuals?

To foster a healthier work environment for future generations, we must advocate for fair wages, respect for skills, and humane working conditions. These principles are essential to ensure that exploitation does not become a defining characteristic of our future.

The blog is a result of personal experiences. I may be wrong on one or more issues. I invite you, readers, to share your comments, reviews, and opinions.

The Gift of Life: Why Donating Blood Matters

blood donation
Blood donation is often called the “gift of life” – and rightly so. Every unit of blood donated has the power to save up to three lives. Despite advances in medicine, there is no substitute for human blood. It remains an essential need during surgeries, accidents, childbirth complications, and for patients battling cancer, anemia, or blood disorders.

The demand for safe blood is constant, yet the supply often falls short. This is why voluntary blood donation plays such a crucial role. By choosing to donate blood, you become a silent hero—supporting not just strangers, but sometimes even friends and family who may need it unexpectedly.

The process of donating blood is simple, safe, and quick. It usually takes less than 30 minutes, with only a small needle prick. The body naturally replenishes the donated blood within weeks, making it a safe practice for healthy adults. In fact, there are several benefits of blood donation, including reducing excess iron levels in the body and promoting better overall health awareness.

Beyond the medical benefits, blood donation awareness highlights a deeper truth: donating blood reflects the spirit of humanity and solidarity. It connects us to a larger purpose, reminding us that even small acts of kindness can create a ripple effect of hope and healing. Each drop of blood carries life, and when shared, it carries compassion too.

I donated three months ago, and donated today. So the first day of September began with blood donation for a 15-year-old girl suffering from thalassemia major. My heart sank when I came to know about the girl. All I could do was pray for her happiness.

I started donating blood exactly 11 years ago, September 7, 2014, to be exact. If you are reading this and are eligible, consider becoming a regular blood donor. Encourage your friends and family to join you. Together, we can bridge the gap between need and supply, ensuring that no life is lost due to a lack of blood. After all, giving blood doesn’t cost much – but to someone in need, it is truly priceless.

A rejoinder to the journey from doing job to owning a business.

It's been nearly four years since I uploaded the last blog, Journey: Jobs to Owning a Business. I sincerely apologize for the extended delay.

The first two years of the journey were exciting and smooth but with ups and downs. Then came the pandemic. It was the toughest. Work wasn't easy to come by. Work was frugal, and so was the money. I had words brimming all over my mind, but they overflowed uselessly. Although, whatever projects I got to work on, I delivered my best.

Nearing the end of 2021, the contractor went bust, and practically, I had no work except a few on-and-off small projects, like 2-3 blogs per month, web content, etc. Well, freelance writers would understand the situation, apart from those who faced grim finances during that period. I can understand the stress and agony of having no work and the impending insecurity of having no money. It wasn't easy for me too. But I held my patience and posture. I say posture because some businesses approach their content with discounts on their minds. It was unfair. I agreed to work on their projects, provided they agreed to my charges because I would never compromise on quality. Some consented, while few paused work.

November 2021 brought a turning point for my freelance content writing business. A close, confidant friend of over 30 years introduced me to a project that is always ongoing. It can stop only when I decide to quit to work. The project has a far-reaching influence on education abroad, and the project owner is an experienced consultant for studying abroad. So, after a brief interview and background check, the owner hired me to write the required content. The moments were rejoicing for my family and me. But there is a but because my role is of a Ghost Writer. Gosh! Yet, I accepted the offer. Ultimately, what matters is - writing top-quality content and earning money.

The work was new, and the pressure was high. It was difficult to cope, but I managed. I worked long hours to understand the specifications and client requirements. I picked pace and ensured to meet the demands within four months of initiating work. What is the best part of working on this project? I am continuously learning new elements of education, qualifications, professions, unique study programs, etc. The opportunity refined my vocabulary, enhanced my writing skills, improved my expressive skills, and more. Today, I can communicate/express a message in one line, which I could do in 2-3 sentences earlier. So it is an improvement. In two years, I have processed millions of words.

I will complete two years of continued efforts to match the demand/s of the consultant this November. The owner is more than happy, and I am happy to earn. Happiness comes at the cost of sacrifices. My family bore the brunt of sacrificing time to make the work run. For me, working long hours is still work, but for them, it is robbing their time. I salute and respect their contribution.

The result of the formal opportunity introduction was positive and positively impacted my personal and professional life. Besides earning good money, what motivates me is the constant flow of work. Money is a by-product of hard work with a tint of smartness.

Now, I can closely relate to the quote of Nicole Snow. A small business is an amazing way to serve and leave an impact on the world you live in.

Like me, everyone out there is serving and leaving an impact. I salute the spirit of entrepreneurship. It ceases global boundaries and helps connect the remotest places on the globe.

I could go on writing to no end. I would stop here. I am grateful to my readers. Your presence inspires me.

Thank you.

Journey: Jobs to Owning a Business.

A small business is an amazing way to serve and leave an impact on the world you live in. - Nicole Snow

Snow's quote symbolizes 'entrepreneurship' is open for all. The theory of 'entrepreneurship' belonging to one community and only that populace excels in it, is entirely wrong or thrust upon masses. Anyone can become an entrepreneur. Anyone who is ready to provide services/sell products at affordable prices and ensures meticulous and on time After Sales Service is, by all means, an entrepreneur.

My Baba - Dinanath Sastikar always wanted his sons (me and my elder brother - Mangeshanand Sastikar) to own a business. He used to say, 'Come on, start your own business, I am ready to invest.' But we messed his wishes and ambitions by hopping from one job to another, year after year, for 25 long years.

At any given time, having a job is good. It ensures a steady income. Plus, you get all the incentives, bonuses, paid leaves, company-sponsored vacation, etc. etc. Life is good, secure, and happy.

But, I had that कीड़ा (crawling insect) of owning a business, wiggling within me. I tried thrice, I failed all the times, miserably. Every time I tried, I lost everything. Then, set the clock again, search for a new job, win the rat race and boast about being a rat. It was 2012, I was desperately needing a job. I got an interview call from a company involved in the background checks of job aspirants. The interviewer, a lady, operations manager, along with her 'चमचा ' (a sycophant), started the interview. The guy was mum all the time, the lady was yapping arrogantly, she had the least respect for a job seeker. I didn't mind that, but I recall her words,

"What is your ambition? Like, I want to be a successful entrepreneur. I don't think you have any ambition, right?"

See the fun, she still runs the operations at the same company, while I have grown multiple times. I learned a lesson from this, let not success corrode your brain.

All this happened in the last 12-14 years. The good thing about losing was, I lost alone, I ensured no one around me was hurt. Although the times were stressful for me and my family. But, losing taught me a great lesson, failure is not final and success is not constant. I recall my Ajoba (Grandfather), he used to tell me.

"सुख-दुःख की चिंता मत कर, वे तो यूँही आते-जाते रहते हैं "

Meaning, 'Do not worry about happiness and or misery, they just come and go'.

Coming to the present, I am glad I have fulfilled my Baba's wish and ambition of me owning a business of my own. Owing to the financial stress at the company I worked in, I had to quit it in June 2019. From July, I was on my own. Started as a Freelance Content Writer. For three months, I slogged for one client, day and night.

Today, I have earned 4 valuable clients and I respect their identity and their businesses. Three (3) clients approached directly, saying, they came to know about my dedication, work ethics, work quality, discipline, business knowledge, and keeping promises, through reliable sources.

Aha! Why should I take credit for all that? I credit my parents for all they have done for me. My Baba & Aai (Veena Ben, I love to call her that way), imparted invaluable lessons of living and working whilst trusting Shri Sadguru.

So, having a good number of clients on board, it was time to register the business. The business' name 'Gurunath Enterprises' was always on my mind. I was naive with the registration process, I sought help from the right person, good old dear friend - Shri Bipin Vyas. I am indebted to him for taking out time from his busy schedule and helping me do the needful at the municipal corporation office. The registration process took less than one day. Wow!

At present, Gurunath Enterprises is run from my home on a 2 ft X 3 ft table. With the blessings of my Sadguru, I am sure, the company will have several 2 ft X 3 ft tables in the future.

Before conceiving the idea of business, I had been writing for clients (from diverse industries) of great, long-time friend Jeet Parekh, for 4+ years. Jeet is a business owner himself, founder of Act Digital. Friendly, knowledgeable, aggressive, and ambitious. I am grateful to him for assigning work to me at regular intervals, even today. Through him, I learn new elements related to digital and online marketing. It is he who taught me, payments in business are uncertain, they can get delayed, due to circumstances or deliberately.

As the journey progresses, I take this opportunity to thank the Director of my former company Hansaa Digiventures P Ltd. - Shri Shripal Gandhi. Had he not given me a chance to explore writing, I would have continued doing mundane, meaningless jobs, even today. Thank you, Sir.

I appreciate and salute the contribution of my wife, Anshumati Sastikar and daughter, Chinmayee Sastikar who encourage and support me in this testing phase. Their support and smile help me go that extra mile, every day. I feel sad to see them bear the brunt of my frustration at times, but all is good that ends well.

Big THANKS to my friends, former colleagues, and family members, who care for me and my well-being.

Behind everyone's support, encouragement, and contribution, there's an extremely strong, eternal support system - my Sadguru. I can describe God, describe numerous Gurus, but I can't describe Sadguru. All I do is stay at his feet seeking blessings.

Thank you for reading this long post. I would appreciate it if you could like and follow 'Gurunath Enterprises' on Facebook and refer the business to your friends and family friends.

Are your experiences useful to others?

To the above question, most of us would nod a YES! Right?

Indeed, the experiences we all get from whatever we have done in the past and whatever we are doing or whatever we are going through today is a good teacher. Sharing good or bad experiences with others prepare them mentally and physically, provided they are prepared to learn from them. They get insights on how to handle or manage typical situations or on how tasks can be completed successfully.

But the tough part is how many people connected with us directly or indirectly benefit from our experiences. The numbers might be very less. Why?

It is simply because they think their education or task management skill is superior to experiences of others. They aren't prepared to accept anything beyond their mental or physical reach.

However, there are few who are always on their toes to learn from their own mistakes and grasp everything from the experiences of others. Although the numbers are very few, they succeed in whatever they are doing or are planning to achieve. They never take credit for their success. In fact, they openly accept constant learning from others.

You know, such breed is very rare.

So, how would you know whether your experiences are useful to others? Here are few pointers which can tell...
  • Accept your mistakes and guts.
  • Ready to learn from your mistakes.
  • Learn from your confidence.
  • Take risks.
  • Listen and work on your suggestions.
  • Take notes and put them to use.
  • Observe your actions closely.
  • Maintain a positive attitude.
  • Ignore negative influences.

I ensure to constantly learn from others. Although I wasn't open during my initial years and suffered. But the success of others whether hidden or open helped me alter my approach toward personal and professional life.

The above is a small list collated from my personal and professional experiences. There may be more and I invite you to share your opinions on experiences.

4 solid reasons that forced me to quit Facebook

Login. Like. Comment. Share. Post. React (of lately). Logout. Login again. Well, the entire blue universe knows this cycle. It is like a GIF. A continuous loop. It goes on and on. The probability of end doesn't exist. I felt good to connect with long-lost friends and re-connect with forgotten family members, and, of course, make new friends, virtual though. Facebook allowed me to easily connect with like-minded people, enabled me to join groups of things that are of interest to me.

I recall joining Facebook around 8 years ago, I think it was 2010. Since I love to write I thought of exploring this platform too. I was quite active on SCRIBD before signing-up on Facebook. The experience on SCRIBD was totally different compared to Facebook. Constructive criticism and proper guidance existed on SCRIBD then. Not sure whether it exists now. SCRIBD gave me hands-on experience in writing poems, stories, blogs etc. I do not use SCRIBD anymore, but I still have a lot of articles on the site.

It was probably late 2010 when a colleague coaxed me to join Facebook. I signed up quite reluctantly. He knew I was on Twitter, but he was glad.

Days, months, and years passed, I made a lot of friends, nearly 500 in 5-6 years. Joined many groups that uplifted my zeal to write more. Exposure to 3-4 social media platforms equipped me to take up a job in social media marketing. I got one and ensured I continue learning.

I did. I learned. I applied. Today, I have a stable job as a Senior Content Writer in a growing digital marketing company in my hometown.

It was in 2016, I found I was stuck among scores of people who had nothing to do with me or my writings. So, I started removing, and I removed nearly 48% of them and brought the figure down to 239 friends. Of these 239, 10% (just 23) are connected or I can say, they are there to like, comment, or react to my posts and I return the favor. No idea, what's going on with the rest 90%.

Needless to say, I cherish the company of these 23 people, who are close to my heart. I haven't met all of them in-person but I love them, and they will always have a special place in my heart.

Coming to what forced me to QUIT Facebook. 4 solid reasons, here they go...
  • Too much addiction - Knowingly or unknowingly, I was getting addicted to logging-in, liking posts (randomly), commenting, logging out, and then coming back to do the same thing. The cycle endlessly continued at work and at home too.

  • A lot of bragging - I am an easy going individual and never like to boast or brag my achievements or written works. I know, it is wrong to expect the same from others but I hate people who brag excessively about petty things.

  • Posts without context - Of late, posts on the social media giant are out of context, for example - political posts, signing useless petitions, abusive stand-up acts, etc. I see posts that have no relevance. I mean they are useless to me. I would prefer something that helps me increase my knowledge.

  • Racing to nowhere - It is like a race. I can never win but I can't afford to lose too. To let my friends know that I exist, I regularly need to update my status and if I don't, none would bother to ask my whereabouts.

To finish, in the past eight years, I had a good time learning, knowing people, and sharpening my writing skill, but this is not the way. There are better ways. There are better options.

Thank you for reading. Do share your experiences.

Do accidents alter your self-confidence?

I know, the answer to the title is very much a "Yes!"

Yes, accidents - small or big do affect our self-confidence, especially when the mishap occurs when we are least prepared. That's the reason they are accidents, but we go in complete shock when the smash happens with something we are fond of doing - riding a bike or driving a car for example.

Physically and mentally healthy may recover quickly after a small or bearable accident. People opposite to that might require more time to come out of the shock.

However, traumatic accidents spare none. Apart from disturbing normal flow of life, they ruin the victims and lives of others. While those who survive - they either lose their confidence completely or are left handicapped for life. It pains to see handicapped survivors.

Sharing my own experience of a bizarre accident that I met last week.

I was on way to my office on my two-wheeler. I was at a crossroad signal, where I was supposed to turn right that led to my work place. We have timer traffic signals in Ahmadabad at most junctions.

So, I was watching the countdown - 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 GO! I wonder what happened all of a sudden -  I lost my balance from the vehicle and fell on my left side with the vehicle just overlapping my left leg. My mind had several thoughts running at the same time and my heart sank few beats. I was lucky - the car behind me slowed down and stopped till the time I was back on my feet. Within moments I was at the signal waiting for it to go green again - 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 GO!

Riding on slow speed, I reached the office parking and limped to the elevator.

Gosh! I wasn't frightened, but tense.

Once in the office, I hastily searched for first-aid, but the kit was missing. I cleaned the bruises with cold water. I felt better. But the wounds started to pinch with sharp pain.

Ah! The pain was bearable though.

At 10:10 am my manager was in. I shared the incident. I was asked to take a day off, but I was firm to finish my morning tasks, which I did.

Finally, I left for home almost 2 hours after the accident. I was grateful to the manager for allowing me to go home.

Yes, the above story focuses only on me, but I am fully aware; there are hundreds and thousands of people on earth who meet with life-threatening road accidents - every minute, some die on the spot while some lose their life during treatment.

And there are many who are left with physical disability for life and some are so shocked that they never return to normalcy.

This freak accident has altered my self-confidence. There is a constant fear of falling off the vehicle or getting hit by another vehicle.

Who should be held responsible - the over cautious ones or the completely reckless ones?

My experiences with self-publishing...

Self-publishing is tough. And marketing self-published book is even tougher. One needs to know the basics, such as - trim size, pricing the book, marketing the book on different platforms including social media etc.

Although a novice to publishing, I self-published "Maiden Musings" nearly five years ago using Createspace

Along with a paperback, I also wanted to make it available on Kindle so that people who wish to read the book on their smartphones, tablets, or Kindle device they could. I did publish it after a month or so, but the layout was completely wonky and not worth buying.

I kept the project live for few days and then I unpublished the book on Kindle just because I did not want to disappoint readers.

Keeping pace with times, I again explored publishing "Maiden Musings" on Kindle through KDP. I read and understood all that was required to make the book presentable, readable, and enjoyable.

I took over 8 days to structure the book as per Kindle standards and this time - I was successful.

Glad to share link to "Maiden Musings" - Kindle edition. Priced at Just $0.99.

Hope you enjoy reading it...

fears a fall on -

For whom is your Social Media Marketing?

Working in digital marketing company for nearly 4 years now, it has widened my understanding of how social media marketing affect a brand.

"If your brand marketing on social media is for everyone, it is for no one."

I read this in one of the blogs on social media marketing and have rephrased it in my own words.

Quick test: Who’s your audience? Which market are you looking to explore? Your products? If you are like most enterprises that sell multiple products or offer different services to multiple audiences, you might have two, three, or different audiences which you are trying to target with the same content initiative. Is that really working for you or for your brand?

Four questions...

Whether your goal is to sell or serve more, you need to get focused on your core audience. If you haven’t already, answer these questions and make sure your entire marketing team puts all their efforts in that direction.
  1. Who? Who is the audience for each post on social media sites? Who is the specific audience you are targeting on these platforms?
  2. Why? Why are you doing this? What is that you see to call social media marketing initiative a success? (Do you need to it to drive sales, save costs, drive customer loyalty, or increase brand identity?)
  3. Outcome? What’s in it for the people? How are you making their lives better or easier in some way? What’s the pain point you are solving for them?
  4. Replacement factor? If you do not provide information about your products or services to your audience, would they care or notice? Will they find the information elsewhere? Is what you are saying really that important to them?
While all these questions are important if you have multiple responses to “who,” the other questions are almost impossible to answer. Having multiple audiences reduces the value of your communication and it has less impact on your audience and will be almost impossible for you to accomplish your social media marketing goals.

Next step...

Social Media Marketing is simple, but never get overly complicated with the available solutions. This is as simple as analyzing, getting your marketing team together and discuss. Many times, online marketing initiatives start with a singular audience focus but expand over time to multiple audiences. If that is the case, it is best to start with low-performance initiatives first. This will help you focus on your core audience, and use other platforms or initiative to communicate with your secondary audience.

Finally, your brand may not need an online marketing initiative targeted to every audience.

...paid immortality

...while standing in a long
never lasting queue

at Supreme’s palatial home

a feeble call
entered my
(Y)ears

“Hey!
It will be eons
till you reach the hell
in there
I can make it faster”

“Why do you say that?
and
who the hell are you?”

“Do not ask
who I am
just say ‘yes’ or ‘no’
to my offer
Mortal”

Confused
I stood my ground
on deciding

With a sigh
I gave up
on waiting

“Okay!
What’s the deal?”

“Handover all that you have
not under the skies
but
under the table
where I tell you
and
wait for your turn
in coming centuries”

“That’s not a good deal
I cannot wait”

“Waiting is prerequisite
My Beloved”

“I see

leave it

I said
I cannot wait

I would rather
speak with angels to let me in
instead of sweetening you, Yama”

“The so called angels
wouldn't entertain you at all
they are busy
tallying inducements
collected to date
which I passed on to them
Mortal”

Still confused

standing there
I decided to quit
queuing-up
for
paid immortality...

The Importance of Graphic Design in Social Media

The term “Graphic Design” usually reminds about advertising industry or print media where ads are visualized, created and published after laborious hours of laying out elements till final design of the advertisement. However, in early days of advertising; designing was of less importance while conveying the message was of priority.

The sense of designing grew when colored prints of ads were available and a message could be presented in various ways.

The advertising industry has seen a lot of changes in the past couple of decades; especially when the world got hooked onto digital communications. Earlier, digital world was limited to a website or email, but after the introduction of social media, the advertising industry has evolved for the good. Traditional ads that appeared in newspapers, magazines, or journals, reached a limited audience of a city, state, of a country, but due to social media, same ads are reaching beyond all territorial boundaries.

Today, whatever the medium - online or print, in the absence of designing - graphic designing, specifically; all forms of advertising will be ineffective. Graphic designs make the ads appealing and it forces the audience to look at the ad, at least once. Graphic design plays an increasingly important role not only in building brand awareness & recognition but in attracting the attention of users.

The moot question still remains unanswered - what role does graphic design play in social media?

However, with the growing use of digital means of communication, the span of attention of users has decreased over the years, and hence, most users love to catch-up relevant information in very few seconds. Since many people are visual learners, they’ll remember a brand better when they see some visuals about it, instead of hearing or reading about it.

A well planned graphic design or placement of logo play a big role in how a product or service is perceived by the social media user. An attractive graphic design helps to strengthen a brand, build trust with the consumer and make the business seem larger than it is.
A well-designed graphic can also lead the user to post links on his/her own social media profile/page; this directs potential customers back to the brand's website or social media platforms or maybe even start a viral campaign with unlimited potential.

Finally, graphic design should be large and detailed enough; so that, visitors to the social media page can easily recognize the image. It should not be so large which takes a long time to load. The design or advertisement layout should emphasize on the proper selection of image and the message to be conveyed. The merger all elements in the right proportion helps a brand to build brand recall and reputation, in the long run.

So, can we say, Social Media is an optimal alternative to traditional advertising, today?

Let me fall...

Let me fall
flow
all over
build no dams of
bias
hatred
stench
over me
allow me
overflow
freeze
go dry at times
let not my
slow movements at times mostly
irk you
I might be in love and dancing
with
pearls
algae
stones
crevices
who hug
with
no terms on
and
help me learn paths
toward vastness
through wild ones

Jesus said...

...and then

Jesus said,

"you will meet rich preachers

on way that leads to me

forgive

ignore

or

shoot them dead

if possible

they are creatures with -

a bit of higher self

who lose their worth

while breaking promises

pledged to me..."

Karma bites back…

While growing up we all have heard from our elders, peers, friends, colleagues, neighbors, related, unrelated, etc about bearing fruits resulting from good deeds and exactly the opposite of bad or wrong doings.

And that is not all; we keep hearing teachings on good and bad karma, if not daily, but once in a while.

Today, I wish to share some of my experiences about Karma biting back.

I have been working for two decades now. I started way back in 1996 and today, it is exactly 20 years and 6 months to be precise.

I have worked in various fields, right from sales, marketing, banking, insurance, automobiles, and currently growing in digital marketing. Although being a commerce graduate, at every job, I picked-up necessary skills to complete jobs or tasks on hand.

Ah! Do not ask about my performances. They were excellent; if they met the likes of my superiors; else, I would get a good verbal thrashing. But thrashing was very rare; because, I ensured work done is in the best interest of the organization, customers, and myself.

Coming back to Karmic actions and reactions – I have had a fair chance of realizing my mistakes and bearing the brunt of my actions or behavior toward fellow beings. I did and do suffer for my past deeds. I suffered financially, physically, mentally, and all that things connected to my being.

The good thing is; I have started to realize what wrong I did, and am putting every effort not to repeat them with a bit of success. I have been able to analyze which past act resulted in this/these suffering/s, and in the process, I have learned to pray The Lord to pardon me, and the prayers are showing good results.

Learning lessons from my Guru, I have started to tread on the path which leads me to HIM.

At times I question myself, “Do people connected to me ever realize about their troubles/pains which have resulted from their bad deeds or inappropriate actions/behavior toward me or any other individual?”

Sadly, I do not find any answer to the question, even today.

But, recently I started getting news about people who literally harassed me mentally in the past are reaping bitter fruits of their peculiar mindset of troubling others through poor gimmickry, lopsided decisions, favoritism, boot-licking, and masterminding fall of others.

Don’t be surprised or shocked to read what I got to know about few great human beings I have known and have worked with. So, here it goes…

Vice President of a bugging organization (claims to be number one in India) was caught with a recorded proof and was thrown out of the company for asking sexual favors from a female colleague. This man used to torture indirectly, and he was the one who was partial toward female employees. Sigh! A typical pervert…!

A regional head was caught and shown the gates for manipulating records and organizing a fraud of amounting to millions.

These were to two great men and one of their associate always ensured I should never grow in any department I work in. They always wanted me to do menial tasks all the while alluring me with promotions and monetary benefits. While the two had their battles to deal with, their pet was subjected to transfers from city to towns every now and then.

Yet another gentleman almost lost his job for supporting fraudsters; however, he was let off just because he had no major role in the fraud.

There are many other men and women I worked with suffered losses – financially, personally, physically, mentally, and or all put together.

Fortunately, today I am free from people who create mess for their own success; because, I work independently along with a dear friend who respects and understands true value of a friend and a co-worker.

Apart from professional front, there are people known to me personally – friends and relatives who knowingly or unknowingly behaved to let me suffer mentally or physically, are bearing the brunt of their karma; just like the way I suffered or am suffering for my behavior.

I am aware all their sufferings may not have resulted from their actions targeted toward me. They might be result of their past deeds which I am not aware of. But, what do all these happenings indicate?

Isn’t it Karma biting back…? OR Is it something else…?

I invite you to enlighten me....
